Just like those famous words uttered by some Terminator in the 90’s I’m back, yay for me.
I’m going to spare you the rather boring tale of why I was gone, it’s not that interesting.

I will however update you all on the various goings on of my life (50% of people will probably stop reading now) which again to be honest aren’t that amazing either.

It’s Autumn now so it’s colder but it’s those nice cold days, clear sky, sunny and no windchill. Y’know those days? Granted, they’ll probably be replaced with rain, more rain and endless rain as that is Auckland winter for you. No snow, though for the second time ever it did kind of snow last year, some claim it was sleet but that’s nowhere near as cool so lets say it was snow (albeit very pathetic). Weather aside, I’m into Term 2 of school and have done a bunch of assessments, I got my term one report today.

Every teacher said I am quiet. One said I wasn’t achieving to my full potential, almost all of them said I need to contribute more.
Well, considering that my Bio teacher is forever telling me to shut up, saying I’m quiet is a bit contradictory (mixed messages people!) And how can I contribute more when this one girl who was previously homeschooled and just came to high school for the last three years of it (5 years in total) shoots up her hand faster than a speeding bullet everytime? And also, who said I want to contribute? Just because you know the answer doesn’t mean you need to share it.

In unschool-like things, I went to One Direction (it was great!) and I’ve developed a fetish for Zumba and lollycake. I could actually eat lollycake for the rest of my life. It wouldn’t be pretty or nutritious as I’m sure the delicious mix of condensed milk, butter, coconut, chopped eskimos (they’re lollies, not the Alaska living ones!) and crushed malt biscuits would leave my teeth worse than a hillybillys after a life time of exposure. But it is. So. Damn. Good. Yeah that’s pretty much my life at the moment, school, boybands, zumba, lollycake oh and saving money to buy more clothes.

Sitely, I’ve got $100 worth of free Google Adwords! I plan to put this to good use and to make it last as long as possible. I added three new brush sets, which involved my scanning in swatches of fabric, the brushes (especially the lace ones!) actually turn out really good even if when you download them they look like they’ll do nothing. I’m going to make more brushes, I’ll get scanning happy. I added a new photoshop tutorial, I’m going to focus on tutorials too.

Lastly, YOLO. Seriously? This has been used in the worst possible situations.

Facebook Status: “I’m going to do it with my boyfriend tonight! YOLO!”
Girl at School: “I’ll go out with him even though I know he’s a loser. YOLO!”
Guy at a Party: “Lets put pot in my beer! YOLO!” (I actually heard someone say this..)

I dunno, it’s just so overused and for the wrong reasons! And plus whenever I see it written down it makes me think of someone pulling a goofy expression doing a hand sign that is a mix of hang loose and call me…

So when someone says something like the FB status I mentioned, I imagine them yelling it in a “like, totally” voice with a goofy expression and this strange hand sign…
Not the coolest thing to have a person conjure up when you’re trying to be all cool.. :/
